Tuesday 6th: Continuing with the hunt for small-leaved lime and barberry for Kew, and tidying up DKW.
Tuesday 13th: We now have permission to pick from the National Trust, so back to check on the barberry and small-leaved lime. And bramble-pulling at DKW.

Tuesday 2nd: Clearing up the “hazel coppice” area of DKW, removing cut material and weeding out unwanted vegetation and self-sown willow/ash/sycamore.
Tuesday 9th: Miscellaneous tasks around DKW. We are starting the Kew work soon, so need to get sorted.
Tuesday 16th: First trip out to start identifying target species for Kew. Likely to be Gait Barrows and Roudsea. Any questions to Nic.

Tuesday 10th: Cutting up and removing yet another fallen tree on the boundary wall of Dog Kennel Wood, plus mulching and re-establishing the path through the woodland area.
Tuesday 17th: Gardening and path repair in DKW, plus planting out baby trees and wildflowers, and clearing more wreckage from the wall.
Tuesday 24th: Walling preparation work in Little Wood, plus miscellaneous tasks in DKW, including installing a new water butt.
Tuesday 31st: Continue path repair in DKW, weeding and mulching round new trees and repairing the tree beds. Also finish building the new woodstore.
Tuesday 5th: Clearing brambles and perennial weeds round the entrance of Dog Kennel Wood and repairs to the raised beds.
Tuesday 12th: Clearing a fallen tree on the Tram road, and more repair work in DKW.
Tuesday 19th: Cutting up and removing fallen trees round the wall behind DKW, and gardening work.
Tuesday 26th: The long-postponed AGM! At 10am, everyone welcome. Followed by general tidying up and gardening.
KCV is meeting again on Tuesdays as the Covid regulations allow, being careful to maintain social distancing. Activities are caring for our baby trees, sowing and planting wild flowers, weeding, hard landscaping work round the site, and gardening/repair work in Serpentine Wood or Fellside.
Meet at Dog Kennel Wood at 9am.
