Tuesday 26th: work on new coppice area in Nobles Rest: weeding and establishment of woodland ground flora. Meet at Noble’s Rest at 9.30. Current Coronavirus social distancing measures will apply and a maximum of two people will be working on site at the same time. Contact Terry if interested.

Thursday 28th: watering newly planted trees and shrubs in Dog Kennel Wood. Meet at DKW at 10.00.

Friday 29th: finish weeding new coppice area in Noble’s Rest. Coronovirus social distancing rules will apply. Meet in Noble’s Rest at 9.30. Morning only.

Working on the third “leaky dam” at Bird’s Park for Cumbria Wildlife Trust.

The Annual General Meeting at 9.15am, followed by continuing the work on the Tram Bank on Kendal Fell.

Tidy up in Dog Kennel Woods after the tree-felling, and continue clearing scrub in Coffin Wood, on Kendal Fell.

Tuesday 14th

Planting willow stakes to help form a “leaky dam” at Bird’s Park reservoir for Cumbria Wildlife Trust. It will be really wet underfoot; wear wellies!

Tuesday 21st

Clearing scrub off the Tram bank, or ckearing rhododendrons at Swine Parrock, depending on the weather.

Tuesday 28th

Working on our “leaky” dams at Bird’s Park reservoir for Cumbria Wildlife Trust. It will be even wetter underfoot than last time if the dam has worked, so wear wellies.<

Finsh bramble clearance by Little Wood on Kendal Fell, and clean limestone pavement in Serpentine Woods. Meet at 9am at Terry’s house.
